But I always get an error that „team explorer for microsoft visual studio update 3 ctp1 fatal error during installation”. Thanks for the reply. I am downloading the ISO – but that will take a while I’ll try to find another version of VS which might work – „professional” or something.

Can I prevent „Team Explorer” from installing? I don’t need or want it, and as it seems that it this component which is causing VS to fail, I can easily do without it.
